US Hits Iran-Backed Kataeb Hezbollah Fighters After Ballistic Missile Attack On Iraq Base

The US carried out two series of strikes in Iraq against Iranian-backed militants on November 22. This was the first publicly reported US response in Iraq to dozens of recent attacks against troops in the region. So far, the US has been reluctant to retaliate in Iraq due to the delicate political situation in Iraq. The US military said in a statement that the strike targeted two facilities in Iraq.
