Blinken A “Coward” | Lavrov Accuses US State Secretary Of “Fleeing” OSCE Meeting

In a press conference held in Skopje, North Macedonia, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov accused US Secretary of State Antony Blinken of exhibiting “simple cowardice” by allegedly fleeing from the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) meeting earlier in the week. Lavrov’s statement suggested that Blinken’s departure from the meeting was seen as an act of avoidance or reluctance to engage in diplomatic discussions.

Additionally, Lavrov expressed Moscow’s skepticism regarding any signs of readiness from Kyiv to move towards a political resolution in the ongoing conflict. He stated that Russia perceived no indications that Ukraine was prepared for a political settlement. Lavrov went on to assert that, based on the current circumstances, Russia had no incentive to alter the objectives of its “special military operation” in Ukraine.
