Remember back two years ago when all the people were posting on this YouTube channel about how in China you can’t say what you want and they’ll delete your comments, moderate what you say, and there is no freedom of speech? While a certain amount of that is true, it sure seems kind of ridiculous drawing attention to it now when compared to our current reality in our “free” Western countries… so let’s do a fun flashback to 2019. I decided not to post this video at the time because too many people were angry. Maybe now we can see things objectively. A lot of English teachers read the headlines and don’t do the deep digging before they get overly concerned about China. Each individual should of course decide what is right for them, but the truth for me is that I’ve been hearing horror stories for 20 years about countries abroad and it’s just become noise to me. ***************************************************************
