India’s defence power is going global! Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, along with Moroccan officials, has inaugurated Tata Advanced Systems Limited’s (TASL) massive 20,000 sq. m defence production plant in Morocco—the largest in the country and the first by an Indian private company in Africa. The plant will produce the advanced Wheeled Armoured Platform (WhAP), jointly developed by DRDO and Tata, known for its modular design, superior mobility, and protection against mines and ballistic threats. This marks a historic step in India’s defence manufacturing journey, strengthening India-Morocco ties and showcasing how India is taking its military expertise worldwide.
