“Want to make sure we do everything…” US Defence Secy on deterring Chinese aggression along LAC
US Secretary of Defence Lloyd J Austin III on June 05 called out Chinese aggression along LAC and while replying to ANI’s question. While answering the question on the possibility of further Chinese aggression along LAC he said, “Want to make sure that we do everything to make sure that things don’t happen but I certainly hope not so.” He said, “Wanna make sure that we do everything to make sure that things don’t happen and part of that is being able to communicate with great powers being able to communicate with each other and prevent things from incidents of escalating out of control. But I certainly hope not so.”
