The IAF had only two aircraft ready and lacked training for a scenario of mass infiltration from Gaza, according to an investigative report. Questions are being raised as to why Israel’s air corps, equipped with advanced weaponry and possessing total air superiority, were unable to repel Hamas’s attack. The Kan public broadcaster said the report was partially based on the Israel Air Force’s (IAF) own unpublished findings.
