Police Minister, Bheki Cele, has painted yet another grim picture of the state of crime in South Africa. Police have released the 2023/2024 1st Quarter Crime Statistics, covering April to June. But there was some positive feedback, with the murder rate showing a 3.1% decline, along with sexual crimes.
