The German energy firm that’s sticking with Russia | DW News



Many European companies have withdrawn from Russia since it launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February. But not the German energy company Wintershall Dea. It’s making billions in profits in cooperation with the Russian state-owned company Gazprom. 1.3 bBillion euros in the first half of the year. The company wants to stick to its projects in Russia. But criticism is getting louder.
